The Kyros screw lock carabiner is one of the strongest in its category with a closed gate strength of 24 kN. The D-shape design holds the load off centre and towards the stronger, non-gated side of the carabiner. The screw lock design enhances the security of the carabiner and practically eradicates the risk of gate lash and minimises component malfunction due to minimal moving parts.
The aluminium construction maintains a low weight to keep you light on your feet on those tricky moves. The key lock nose prevents rope snagging for free, fluid rope movement and efficent handling. The Kyros comes in a classic bright red so that you can spot your gear from a mile off, even in wonderful winter conditions. Sold as a pair.
