The original Hyperspeed Pro delivered on riders' demands for an alternative to the one-piece. Now evolved into the Hyperspeed 2 Pro, it's still the top half of a racing suit. But this enhanced-specification jacket does nothing by halves - it makes a full-on, life-embracing statement.

On one hand, the track-sport pedigree is obvious. Features include elbow sliders, a speed hump, MotoGP design cues, plus ample, strategically placed perforation on sides and shoulders for maximum airflow - a shortlist usually reserved for full-blown racing.

On the other hand, its street-riding credentials deliver utility and comfort. There's reflective detailing for low light and you can zip it up to pants or loop in jeans. For longer rides, the speed hump fits a drinks bladder, and with three pockets - an inner, inner Napoleon, and waist pocket - plus stretch points at elbows, armholes, shoulders, and chest, this high-performance jacket is as practical as it is safe.
